Kids These Days

(I can say that since I'm legally an adult. Right??)

I hung out with Scott's family the other night. And Jessica and Nathan did things that made me chuckle. That isn't too unusual. But this time, I was an integral part of the funnyness.

At the end of scripture reading, Jessica discovered my arm hairs. Apparently they were fascinating to her. So she sat and pulled on individual ones. A very strange feeling. I think it was because she was bored. Then I tried to do it back to her -- not possible! Her arm hairs are so short. I couldn't grab any of them. Interesting....

Nathan has a winter glove that he puts on and then he walks around throwing punches. I think he was inspired by SpongeBob. I saw 2 winter gloves this night, so I put one on and gave the other to Nathan. He got excited and started punching for real! It didn't really hurt; even though he used his entire body. It was funny. I mostly laughed.

So now I've been a human punching bag. YES! I've always wanted to add that to my list of accomplishments.

Then he got the couch cushions and put them on (or maybe I hid under them) and started body slamming me. That was a little more painful. It was just a funny experience. He got so serious when he threw his punches. And he stood on the couch where I was sitting and put his entire body into it. I might take a video of it one day. It's cute.
