Me on the tree swing. Sweet, huh? (Forgot about it so it's out of order.)

We bought a bag of these at the side of the road on our drive down. You peel off a piece in the middle then push the two horns together and down. The fruit (?) inside is white and has a potato texture.

A famous landmark of Kending, according to Yvonne.

Me by the sign that says Kenting. We went inside there for our hike.

The pink building with all the surf boards is our youth hotel.

One of the dogs at our hotel. Look closely at his eyes.

The beach!

It was pretty crowded. And I took the picture so you could see their buidlings. Even if there are a bunch together they are all that width (see the white bldg in background?).

Self-portrait at the beach.

A worker on the beach. She'll set up your umbrella for you. It looks like a hot outfit! But it keeps the sun off, and that's what they want.

The common area. The door with the leaf leads to the room I slept in.

The bamboo bunk beds.

My bed (I slept on the right side).

Our first treat that night - coconut milk. It was good.

Cooking squid.

Yvonne with her squid.

Me with a piece of squid. Laugh to keep from crying and not eating it. . .

My dinner cooking.

These are real!

I thought this was so crazy. But Jason & Maggie said they aren't real. The food just looks like frog eggs. . . sad.

It just doesn't capture it right! That's one problem with cameras.

Yvonne & Maggie hiking.

We stopped for a moment and I looked up to behold this. I'm glad it didn't fall!

Look, I was there.

Go figure I'm on the upper part of the ground. I'm already taller than both of them!

Our "cool" spot. The breeze was fabulous.

See that tip coming from the bottom? My rock.

Climbing out to my rock. Photographer - Yvonne

Sitting on a rock (it hurt my bum).

Maggie climbing.

The path.

Spider! Isn't it big?!

I'm excited to be at Smokey Joe's.

The groupies. Jason, Maggie, Me, Yvonne (taking her glasses off as the picture was taken. ha ha)

ambs that has to be the most disgusting picture of a spider I have ever seen in real life! I think I would have freaked out if I would've been there!
What an interesting trip. I'm so glad you were able to go. I'm amazed that you are able to stomach some of the things you see and eat! The spider takes all. I can't even stand to look at the picture. I would have been booking a flight home after that.
The beach was crowded, but very colorful. There is a lot of color there, isn't there? And the scenery is beautiful.
What's with the marijuana sign on the door to your room at the youth hotel?
Thanks for taking us along on such an adventure. You are doing so great! Love you, G. Barlow
Uggh... That spider is absolutely disgusting. Seriously. Can it get any worse? And I'm with Gma. What's up with the marijuana? What kind of establishment were you staying in?
Sounds like it was a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing the details. You are quite the adventurer. Love you!
I wondered if anyone would notice the marijuana sign. I don't know what's up with it. I saw a bunch of shirts with a similar design. Yvonne doesn't get it either since it is illegal in this country. It was an okay establishment. All about surfing.
So that spider was real?! Ewwwww! I just get the shivers looking at it. How big would you say it really was?
Ugh, I will never get used to your tolerance of spiders! (Although it did come in handy at sleepovers...)That picture is horrifying and I would have been FREAKING OUT! Gives me the shivers! Sounds like a fun trip other than that!
