It's Really Happening

School is starting! It almost seems I thought it would never come. But it has. I received my schedule today. They do it week by week, not day by day. Mondays are the worst as I have 6 classes to teach (and they're all different). I'm nervous, but things will work out okay. I would be nervous even if I was starting teaching back home.

I'm teaching three different types of classes: Listening & Speaking; Writing; and Conversation. And then I have different levels in those groups. L & S meets 4 hours per week, Writing meets 2 hours per week and Conversation only 1 hour per week. The conversation classes are for all students in the comprehensive high school (versus vocational school). The other 2 classes are for students only in the English Honor Program. Confused? I don't fully understand it all either; don't worry.

We haven't seen your blog for a few days, so we enjoyed catching up. I need to figure out how to do the videos.

We decided you have the adventurous spirit of your dad. The caterpillar probably used you for a bathroom because you made it a nervous wreck.

It was so fun to read your blog as always!

Love you, Grandma B.

Good luck! Do you have an assistant that knows English and Chinese? Or are you totally on your own?
