Hong Kong I'll have to figure out on my own and I'll go to Beijing with a tour.
I hope it is all fabulous!! It won't happen until winter break (end of Jan to beginning of Feb) but we're planning now.

You'll be fine in Hong Kong since it is a former British colony. Many people speak English.
However, NOT the same in Beijing. Where do you meet up with the tour in Beijing?
What hoel are you staying at?
